Naomi Jury’s well-rounded background in aesthetics makes her a true asset at Bella Vida Aesthetics & Wellness, but it’s her unwavering eagerness to learn every inch of the business that undoubtedly has her on a path of true aesthetic “rock stardom.” Having experienced aesthetics in a corporate environment as well as a more intimate family-owned med spa setting, her journey has now brought her to the concierge side of the industry as Iani’s trusted Medical Assistant.

In addition to assisting Iani in several aspects of treatment, including prepping materials and educating patients on post-treatment instructions, among other important tasks, Naomi will also be learning firsthand from one of the top minds in the industry, Iani herself. Once she’s completed her degree in biopharmaceutical sciences and earned all necessary licensure, Naomi will be ready to hit the ground running in what promises to be an exciting aesthetics career. 

Naomi was born in Thailand where she spent the first 10 years of her life before her family relocated to London, England. It was in London that she learned to speak English fluently, which came in handy when she and her family moved to South Florida when she was in her early teens. Florida has been home ever since.

Naomi started out in college as a business major, attributed primarily to her father’s ownership of several restaurants in Europe and his desire for her to eventually carry on the family vocation. But she quickly realized that a medical pathway was much more in line with her passion, prompting her to set her sights on pursuing a degree in biopharmaceutical sciences. That current degree program has Naomi on a fast track to becoming a Physician Assistant.

Her first taste of aesthetics came in 2017 when she began working the front desk in Fort Lauderdale at a large aesthetic practice with offices in several states.

“That was my first introduction into aesthetics, and I immediately fell in love with the industry,” Naomi said.

The nurse practitioner (NP) at Naomi’s office at the time was a national trainer for Big Pharma companies, including Galderma and Allergan. The NP quickly recognized Naomi’s great potential due to her eagerness to learn and ability to grasp things quickly and decided to take her under her wing. That proved to be an immensely valuable experience.

“She started taking me with her to her trainings as her medical assistant,” Naomi said. “That is what truly drove me into switching my career path to medical aesthetics.”

Naomi’s alignment with Bella Vida Aesthetics & Wellness came about thanks to the “small world” aspect of the industry. As Iani is well known in aesthetics due to her Bella Vida Instant BBL technique, Naomi has been a follower of hers on social media for some time. Though she didn’t know her personally, Naomi jumped at the chance to throw her name in the hat when it became known that Iani was looking for a Medical Assistant.

“I just decided to shoot my shot and sent in my résumé,” Naomi said. “The next thing you know, I heard from Iani a couple days later and we set up an interview. That’s how the magic happened.”

With her already significant experience in aesthetics combined with her continued education in the classroom and at the experienced hand of master injector Iani, Naomi’s future in aesthetics is indeed bright.

In Naomi’s spare time, she is traveling the world – experiencing different cultures and trying new cuisines. Aside from that, she loves horseback riding and welcomes any activity involving animals and being in nature.
