Iani Silveira isn’t your run-of-the-mill medical aesthetics practitioner. She established Bella Vida Aesthetics & Wellness with a vision of providing a true concierge experience for her clients, and people can’t seem to get enough of it. In addition to being a board-certified family nurse practitioner, master injector, and expert trainer, she’s also a bona fide aesthetics innovator thanks to her personal development of a nonsurgical butt-enhancing procedure that’s gaining popularity. The Booty Queen™ is our provider, Iani Silveira, that performs a non-invasive, cosmetic procedure called Bella Vida Instant BBL™. But her rise to prominence didn’t come without a few twists and turns along the way.
Iani was raised in Miami. The daughter of Brazilian immigrants, she’s the first in her family to be born in the U.S. But her upbringing still involved an immersion in Brazilian culture. She’s fluent in three languages – English, Portuguese, and Spanish – and attended an elite all-girls school, Our Lady of Lourdes Academy in Miami. In addition to swimming competitively and being a cheerleader throughout school, Iani even found time to serve as the president of the Computer Club.
Iani later attended Spring Hill College, a private school in Mobile, Alabama, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then decided to return to Miami, where she landed her first job at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital on the neurology floor. Surprisingly, that’s where she was first introduced to botulinum toxins. Although the toxins were mostly used to treat tonic patients (and she didn’t realize it at the time), it was still a kind of foreshadowing of things to come later in her career.
“I always wanted to do something medical,” Iani said. “At first, I wanted to be a pediatrician. That might have been because I came from immigrant parents. For most immigrant parents, if your kids are born in the United States, you’re either pushed to be a lawyer or a doctor. Education was always number one with my parents.”
After working at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital for a couple of years, she then moved to Tampa and began working at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, continuing in pediatric neurology. But she soon realized she desired more control over the care of her patients, so she decided to change course.
“I went back to school, studied while I was working nightshift full-time, and then finished my masters online,” Iani said. “Then I started working family practice at a local practice in Tampa Bay with one of the most well-known doctors in the area. I worked beside him for a year, training and seeing patients in the office.”
That doctor also owned an aesthetics clinic in St. Petersburg, which more than piqued Iani’s interest. When she realized she wasn’t getting the exposure she craved despite repeated attempts to do so, it led her to reach out to an aesthetician friend who owned a small business that featured a doctor who came in every couple of weeks to do injectables. She started shadowing that doctor, eventually taking over the injections herself and gaining concierge clients. But it was an influential family member that really helped Iani gain the exposure she longed for.
“At that point, I was traveling for the aesthetics side, even going to New York with my cousin who used to be one of the head agents at an international modeling agency. He would get me a lot of high-end clients through that role.”
Iani was also simultaneously working at U.S. Stem Cell, Inc., a world leader in research and development of stem cell and regenerative medical treatments, while continuing to travel for her concierge aesthetics clients. There, she learned all the intricacies of regenerative medicine, which translates to the “wellness” part of Bella Vida Aesthetics & Wellness. Still, it was her aesthetics background that garnered the most attention.
“Every time I would go to a new office or open up a new stem cell clinic and conduct trainings, people would ask me about my aesthetics experience,” she said. “Then it turned into a few aesthetics patients being lined up for treatment.”

“I have no problem letting my patients know if they don’t need a particular treatment. Someone came in for the Bella Vida Instant BBL™ recently, and I said, ‘You honestly don’t need it, so I’m not going to charge you thousands of dollars to enhance your butt when you don’t need it.’ We came up with a different plan of care in that instance. I could sell or push anything, but it’s that concierge approach where you know you can trust your injector.”
The concierge experience has been a reigning theme with Iani’s practice from the beginning, and that’s something she plans to never compromise. Any regular client will tell you Iani feels more like a friend than just a medical professional behind a syringe.
“I want to explain to people why Bella Vida Aesthetics & Wellness is the perfect match for them because of the concierge experience. Concierge is more one-on-one,” she said. “I’m asking you questions, I get to know you, I’m seeing your expressions, and I’m seeing where I can provide the most beneficial correction. It’s really more about gaining a friend. I want you to feel good about what it is that you’re doing for you rather than for someone else, so I take more time with my patients.”
And it’s not only her clients that reap the benefits of Iani’s knowledge of aesthetics. She has a true passion for helping educate other aspiring professionals, which is why she’s made a name for herself as an expert trainer for aspiring injectors as well.
“I want to give back because it was so difficult for me to get started in aesthetics and do what I’m doing today,” she said. “I think that’s what people don’t realize – it took me years to establish the right contacts and get the exposure I needed. I want to pave a much easier path for other providers.”
Not only is she a pioneer of exciting new techniques in aesthetics, not to mention all the other tried-and-true methods, but Iani makes it part of her mission to elevate the industry as a whole.
“I want to educate people about safety and that there are ways to do aesthetics that are not superficial,” she said. “I’ve heard people comment that my job is superficial. That’s just not the case. I did Botox on a woman who had a stroke, so she had left side ptosis. I was able to relax that muscle so she could not only have more confidence but have better facial movement as well. So there’s definitely a medical aspect to it. That’s why I concentrate on the aesthetics AND wellness, because I want to know my patients inside and out, as well as encourage other practitioners to be innovative and safe as far as training.”
At the end of the day, Iani realizes and appreciates how far she’s come and has no plans of slowing the momentum anytime soon.
“Just a few years ago, I was nowhere even close to thinking about what I’m doing now,” she said. “Just the fact that it’s grown this much and there’s a lot of people interested in it is a very humbling experience. There’s been a lot of blood, sweat, tears, time, and money along the way, but it’s all worth it now.”
When Iani’s not elevating the aesthetics industry for patients and providers alike, her favorite pastimes include anything beach or boat related, working out to keep her own wellness in tip-top shape, and the fine art of sleeping.
